Boxing carries risk

Boxing and other combat sports can cause serious injury. Gloves, headgear and groin guards reduce the risk of some injuries, such as cuts and bruising, but no protective equipment can prevent all injuries, including concussion. By using our gear you accept the risks of the sport.

• Train and spar under qualified supervision.
• Talk to a doctor before starting if you have any health concerns.
• Check your gear before every session and stop using anything that is torn, split or has compressed padding.
• Children should only use our gear with adult supervision.

Sizing and training guidance

Our size guide, fit finder, product descriptions and FAQs are general guidance, not professional, medical or coaching advice. Your coach or gym may have their own requirements, and theirs come first.

Competition use

Our gear is made for training and sparring. Sanctioning bodies set their own equipment rules. Check with yours before using any UKmets product in competition; we make no claim that a product is approved by any organisation.

Product information

Every item is hand-stitched, so small differences in stitching, shade and finish from the photos are normal. Colours also vary between screens. We work to keep descriptions, prices and availability accurate, but errors can happen and we may correct them.
