Almost every boxing glove is cut around a large hand. If yours is narrower, the glove shifts on impact, your fist doesn't close fully, and the wrist takes what the padding should.
Why it's built this way
These use a narrower shell and a shorter fist cavity, so your hand fills the glove instead of floating in it. The weights stay the same; only the fit changes. It's not a smaller version of a men's glove. It's a different pattern.

Care
Open the cuffs or loosen the laces and air-dry after every session, away from direct heat. Wipe the outside with a damp cloth. Never store gloves zipped in a gym bag.
